Brendon Reis 2025
Each year we introduce an extraordinary artist from the Global South to American collectors.  We are honored to be able to show Brazilian artist Brendon Reis's work at a solo exhibition at the Atlanta Art Fair from October 1-4, 2026.

A developing part of our work includes helping younger artists find new avenues to sell their work through galleries, promotional opportunities and digital platforms.

Brendon Reis (Salvador, 1996) is a self-taught visual artist based in São Paulo, Brazil. His painting research is driven by the imagery of Black identity through the concepts of the natural and the surreal. Brendon’s work explores the contradictory dilemmas of human existence, such as perception and image, the ordinary and the spectacular. Focusing on portraits of Black figures in dark and blue tones, the artist connects the concepts of identity, body, affection, and duality. His work are held in the permanent collections of Museum of Fine Arts in Rio de Janeiro Brazil and the Museum of Contemporary Art of Rio Grande do Sul in Porto Alegre Brazil.
