About Us
Gerber Fine Art advises clients on acquiring and selling works by collected bluechip artists, while introducing collectors to compelling works by current artists. We provide guidance in building thoughtful collections that, if desired, can play a meaningful role in a broader investment strategy.

We connect clients with the artworks they want and ensure that their acquisitions are of the best possible quality, condition and value.

Art has been an important part of my life since my teen years in New York City during the 1980s. Over the past 30 years, I’ve built a collection centered on the downtown art scene of that era—most notably the work of my childhood hero, Keith Haring, alongside Andy Warhol, Barbara Kruger, Jenny Holzer, Kenny Scharf, David Wojnarowicz, and others.
I also collect what I call Kinder-Brut: raw, naïve, passionate, and energetic work with roots in the Art Brut and CoBrA movements of postwar Europe. This includes 20th-century figures such as Karel Appel, Rufino Tamayo, and Jean Dubuffet, as well as contemporary artists including Saxon Quinn, Rob Ober, Hunter Potter, and Sebastian Helling.
In addition, my collection includes a group of current artists such as Robert Zehnder, Dustin Emory, Galen Frost Bernard, Ryan Schneider, Sergio Suarez, Aineki Traverso, Kathryn Kampovsky, Ritchie Culver and Taylor Lee. Supporting the next generation of American artists is both a personal passion and a central part of how I engage with the art world.
What began as a personal pursuit has evolved into a commitment to helping collectors discover work that truly resonates and to guiding the development of thoughtful, enduring collections. I am equally committed to supporting emerging artists and introducing artists from the Global South to collectors in the United States.
